Hey there,
This month I’m moving! I’m super excited about it. Truthfully, I have wanted to move for the past 3 years or so but, timing wasn’t right.
Finally it is the right time and I’m stoked!
Whenever I move, there’s so much going on.
For everyone moving, really.
Packing, scheduling, turning off services, turning on services, etc.
It’s a lot.
That’s why moving is considered a life event and one of the most stressful life things to happen to you.
I tend to get overwhelmed and shut off when things get to be too much.
I found myself not having the inspiration to write, not feeling like working, and finding difficulty in running my business.
When I transitioned from San Antonio to Houston five years ago, the same thing happened.
I was talking to my best friend about it and she looked at me wide-eyed, like a deer in headlights when I told her I didn’t feel like working and wasn’t working.
Then, I explained about my passive income I earn including one income stream that makes me $300 to $1,800 every week, with no ongoing work. And, she put her heart back in her chest, lol.
So, I wanted to dedicate this email to talking about passive income.
25 Passive Income Ideas to Think About
I talk about passive income so much but, it never gets old to me.
I asked Claude AI about passive income ideas. Here’s what it said…
Rental property income (invest $100+ with fractional share real estate investing with Arrived Homes)
Dividend stocks (M1 Finance is a favorite)
High-yield savings accounts
Bonds
Peer-to-peer lending
Affiliate marketing (high ticket affiliate marketing can make you a LOT of money - get started with this and read my free ebook)
Display advertising on a website or blog
Selling digital products like ebooks, courses, templates, etc. (I use Gumroad and Teachable platforms for this)
Selling photos, videos, or graphics online
Building and selling apps
Investing in index funds
Investing in a rental property
Renting your car or other assets (Turo, GetAround, etc.)
Selling your own digital products on platforms like Etsy
Monetizing a YouTube channel (I built up my faceless YouTube channel to 300K subscribers in less than 2 years)
Building an online community that generates revenue (Facebook groups, Slack, Discord, etc.)
Creating an online course (Teachable is my platform of choice)
Renting out your home or apartment on Airbnb
Dropshipping products ( I had a lot of success with this)
Licensing your content or intellectual property
Selling your own Lightroom presets
Flipping items for profit (website flipping is my pick!)
Renting storage space (Neighbor can help with this)
Renting a parking space
Generating ad revenue from a website or blog (another favorite of mine)
Did you get any ideas?
The move
I’m downsizing, which I’m super excited about.
My current house is too big for my small family. We have multiple unused, empty rooms just going to waste and tempting us to fill them with unnecessary things.
A move is a time for change, it can be a fresh start, a new beginning.
I’m excited for all this and looking forward to the entire process being over soon.
The half-year update
I’m not quite where I want to be income-wise but, I have some plans to change that.
Here are some things I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Some projects are underway, others are still thoughts bouncing around my mind until I feel ready to pull the trigger…
Skillshare courses
Starting to flip hundreds of starter sites a month with website flipping
Publishing an ebook a month (or an ebook a week) to my Gumroad store
Niche Gumroad pages
Niche Medium pages
Interesting stuff.
I’m stoked to use AI tools to help me take my websites and business to the next level. Here are the tools I’m currently using:
ChatGPT
Machined AI (I just wrote a post describing this - I set up 34 blog posts in minutes)
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Let me know what you’re working on or things you’re excited about, in the upcoming future.
Best,
Jenn
Loving the real estate ones. It would very interesting to read how you use the power of AI in your content but still keep that human element. Please consider writing a article on that? I absolutely love your work 😊
#20 sounds good, especially as we have lots of content already created. Good luck with the move.
