My Solopreneur Tech Stack
Plus, 5 side hustles for Money March

Hey,
I am incredibly behind on newsletters lol. There’s no sign of catching up but, I will do my best. It’s Spring Break week! I decided to take a little time off to hang with the family. I am loving it!
I thought I’d break down my tech stack and also share 5 side hustles I am behind on for my Money March series.
Let’s go!
My tech stack as a creative solopreneur
Here we go…
Canva
My go-to for graphics. I’ve been using Canva lately to revise and refine my portfolio for UGC and content creation. I also use it for my media kit and graphics I make for livestreaming so there’s a picture on the screen.
Google Docs
For my lead magnets, I’m heading to Google Docs.
ChatGPT
This is a daily use for me.
From idea-generation to research and getting ideas, I’m in ChatGPT on the daily. I don’t even have the $20 plan yet lol But, that’s coming.
Medium
This is one of my income streams but, I use Medium to get ideas too. I love reading the work of other writers. It not only inspires me in my own writing but, gives me things to think about for my business.
Here are some of my latest bookmarks from other writers:
Reddit
Reddit continues to be a major traffic driver for me.
My performance:
I continue to drive revenue for my business from Reddit. I don’t run Reddit ads or use any paid tools for Reddit. Free guide.
Beacons
I have a few Beacons stores and they are where most of my digital products live.
Beehiiv
I’m on a free Beehiiv plan but, getting ready to go paid so I can use their paid sponsorships feature. I think the income from the sponsorships will pay for the plan.
And, I really like Beehiiv.
My newsletter is called Marketing Corner. Feel free to join, if you’d like.
What I’m adding this year…
I mentioned adding Beehiiv paid plan. I’m also going to get on Cookie Finance which I’ve been eyeing for years.
You don’t know the joy it brings me to think about outsourcing my bookkeeping and accounting. I do this with software but, having experts behind it is an added bonus.
I’m happy to pay a monthly cost for this peace of mind. They specialize in bookkeeping and tax prep for content creators!
I get asked a lot what tools I use to run my online business
Between blogging, digital products, affiliate marketing, and content creation, there are a lot of moving pieces.
5 Side Hustles for Money March
Here we go…
LinkedIn or X ghostwriting - CEOs and business owners pay writers to write their tweets and LinkedIn posts. This is pretty fruitful. I’ve read a few articles from ghostwriters earning $100K to $200K per year doing this.
UGC - if you want to try this out, creating short-form videos for brands, a fast way to start getting gigs is going to Reddit. The r/UGCCreators and r/UGCforbrands subreddits have tons of deals posted at all times. They are not the highest-paying, but to make an extra $500 to $1,500 per month, they fit the bill!
SAAS flipping - create a SAAS website/tool and sell it on Flippa. I see a growing number of these SAAS projects beings old fast there. Like website flipping but for SAAS.
Website flipping - you can also do website flipping. I create small microwebsites around a niche and sell them for up to $500 each on Flippa. I’m selling one this week, in the gardening niche. Free guide.
TikTok Work with Artists - this is a creator program on TikTok. I just joined. You use their featured song and earn up to $1,000 when your videos featuring the music gets viewed.
Enjoy your week!
Best,
Jenn
