Hey,
Hope you had an amazing weekend. I went on a food crawl on Saturday and yesterday, got to try the Dubai chocolate pistachio matcha latte at Starbucks, which was insanely good.
I had the wild idea of trying to walk 10K steps a day for the rest of the month. I’ll keep you posted on if that happens or not!
I wanted to share a bit into my Reddit lead generation machine, what I’ve been doing and how it works…
How to use Reddit to generate leads
If you have any offer, you can use Reddit.
It’s Google-friendly and can be a source of leads and traffic for your business:
Grow your email list
Make sales
Get leads for a product or service you offer
Get clients
Grow your social media account
So far, I’ve used Reddit and…
Have gotten a job offer
Ran a Reddit UGC campaign for a brand
Made multiple high, mid and low-ticket sales
Grown my email list and gotten leads
Grown my social media account
How I use Reddit
My goal is to make sales.
I will refer either…
One of my courses or,
One of my ebooks
My largest sale has been $595- it was this product
How it works?
You use the platform to chat about a topic, whether you post or make a comment.
Some of my posts have hit, some have flopped.
Overall, the performance has been pretty good and I usually average at least 10K views per post.
What to watch out for?
The subreddit communities within Reddit are very rule-driven.
Each community will have their own set of rules. You must follow them or risk getting suspended from the community.
Suspension doesn’t restrict you viewing the community but, you won’t be able to post.
Redditors can be cutthroat so, you need to have a thick skin.
They are not shy to call people out, call you scam, really tear into you.
I’ve gotten my fair share of these harsh comments.
It doesn’t bother me anymore. The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks, in my opinion.
How people use Reddit
This creator uses Reddit to drive traffic to her Medium stories.
Other creators I’ve seen cleverly talking about their niche and drawing in users to the DMs where they can convert them to a lead or sale.
It works.
I do this.
There are so many ways to use this platform.
If you want to learn more, my Reddit mini course talks about how I use the platform to drive leads, sales and grow my traffic.
Have you used it in this way before?
Would you?
Best,
Jenn
P.S. I ran a poll in this newsletter recently with the kind of content you want me to publish. Side hustles are winning so far - about one day left to vote, if you haven’t already
