Medium writing, marketing, and time off😍
Hey,
Hope your week is going well. Here’s an update on what’s been happening over here…
First, Medium writing. I’ve taken a MAJOR slow down. I never thought I’d write less than 20 articles a month on Medium but, with recent posts earning like $1.30 or something like that each, it just isn’t the best use of my time.
I love contributing there. The conversations with Medium writers and readers is great and the platform is just fun to write on.
But, I have scaled back in a big way.
No more 20 to 30 articles a month.
Now, my aim is to create 4 to 5 pieces a month.
It’s sad to me. It makes me feel like I’m breaking up with the platform.
The changes that have taken place are impacting all writers. I know some are still performing very well or better than ever and that’s great.
For me, my views, earnings, and overall readership numbers are down :/
Digital marketing
Next, digital marketing. It’s super exciting for me. I’m 4.5 months into it and it’s still a rush every time I make money.
I was walking into Walmart day before yesterday and made a $500 sale, which was nice.
I made about $200 yesterday on my sons bday when I was hardly working. Another great thing about digital marketing - passive income!
Look at my Gumroad dashboard for this month…
This is from the last 30 days!
Now, I was in the BC Stack bundle so most of these sales are just free downloads but, it’s nice to see this big number in my dashboard.
It’s a big motivator for sure.
On Gumroad, I continue to sell dozens of digital products a month. That doesn’t count sales from other platforms I’m on like Systeme and Payhip.
This is the OG digital marketing course I started with.
It’s amazing but, comes with a big price tag, of around $500.
There are payment plans though and because it has master resell rights, once you sell one course to your audience, you break even.
This happened to me 2 days after I started 😳
For people who want to break into digital marketing to get their feet wet and see what it’s about as a beginner without paying $500, I have this new faceless digital marketing bundle I just released this week.
It’s 100 pages in an ebook that goes over how to start and make money from faceless digital marketing.
And, you get 2 bonus resources: my 3-hour mini course on Instagrram growth and No Income Claims e-guide that was going viral on social media recently.
It helps you create content for your business without having to share income claims or income numbers. Beginner digital marketers are eating this up!
The bundle has master resell rights too, so you can resell it to your audience.
Click here to get it, it’s called the Faceless Digital Marketing Playbook.
Time off…
June was busy.
My birthday, Father’s Day, my son’s birthday.
Some time off which was much needed happened and I’m craving more of it, to be honest, haha.
It’s great to take breaks.
And when I’m on a break, I don’t even think about my phone or social media.
It’s a great break from digital media.
What’s new?
I launched the Faceless Digital Marketing Playbook I talked about earlier.
I also launched Selling With Reddit, a mini course about getting traffic, leads, and sales from Reddit
Check out this positive review…
I was in the BC Stack 10th anniversary bundle, which was great
I downgraded and ditched Friend of Medium membership on Medium - I didn’t see a real difference on my account
I’ve been hanging out on Threads a lot more. It’s like an easier version of Twitter for me. I have over 700 followers so far, in about 2 weeks on the platform.
How has your June been going so far?
Cheers,
Jenn
