Top Tips for Finding the Perfect Job or Side Hustle
I’m kind of obsessed with finding jobs for other people, low key. I’ve helped my sister find and land multiple jobs. Same with my husband. It’s just fun for me.
Here are some tips that can aid in your job/side hustle search:
Identify things you like (passions/interests): Doing a job you love is the ultimate goal. Hone in on your interests and find jobs/hustles you think you’ll truly like.
Use tools: From AI resume/cover letter tools to working with a career coach, etc. Use all the resources at your disposal. Investing money in your job search can sometimes pay off. I’ve heard of applicants doing 50 apps a day for months and only landing a handful of interviews that ultimately get handed to another candidate. Cut that time and don’t be afraid to invest in yourself, if needed.
Go back to school: Not necessarily go to college for a new 4-year degree or anything but consider doing a career training to level up your skills.
CourseCareers teaches tech skills/experience in tech sales, digital marketing, front end and back end development, IT, HR, customer success, and more. Super affordable and they have payment plans!
Avocademy runs a tech academy for UX/UI design ($85K to $95K starting salary average for their students)
Leveld Careers offers top training and MBA-level courses on cybersecurity, tech sales, and tech sales engineering.
Also, if finding a remote position is important to you, go to the remote-only job boards! There are TONS of them out there. Try going for an industry-specific remote job board, which can help you find the targeted roles you’re in search for.
For side hustles…
Wow, there are so many out there. My list of 30+ online beginner-friendly side hustles is a great resource to start with to give you some ideas.

Have an amazing week!
Cheers,
