I started faceless digital marketing 5 months ago [Updated Results]
Hi,
I hope your week and weekend has been great. So, I ventured into faceless digital marketing earlier in the year.
I was seeing influencers making a killing doing this. And, since I missed the boat on other income opportunities in the past like Snapchat Spotlight, I was a little late to Pinterest Creator Rewards, and other programs, I wanted to jump in right away!
In January…
I started. Officially.
But, I did it on my own, with no training or course behind me. I watched what others did, tried to emulate that and recreate it.
I started a TikTok and Instagram account and began posting.
One slow, lackluster month later, I grew my TT account to around 200 followers and Instagram had about a dozen followers (I was WAY more active on TT).
This was it!
I was getting a course and the one I got was Roadmap 3.0.
In February…
Starting Roadmap was interesting. It’s laid out kind of like a college course. Hundreds of video lessons and super thorough.
People say it’s not beginner-friendly because it’s so much content but, I completely disagree.
This is a great, beginner-friendly course to take if you’re new to digital marketing.
What scares people away is the price point, because it is around $500.
The value is there, though. You get so much.
But, for beginners that want to start but, don’t want to pay $500, even with a payment plan, there are more affordable options out there, like this faceless digital marketing playbook bundle for under $100.
I got my first sale in the first 2 days of starting faceless digital marketing and it was for around $500.
I consider around this time to be my true starting point, since I had a course behind me.
In March…
Over the next month or so, I continued to get sales and leads.
It was very inconsistent, though.
I’d get a cluster of sales then nothing, then a cluster of sales, then nothing.
In this month, I got my second course, also around $500, called UBC or Ultimate Branding Course.
I wanted more consistency in sales and I wanted to sell better on social media. That’s what this course promised (and it delivered).
It took me about 2-3 weeks to sell UBC and continued to sell Roadmap as well as other digital products.
I made almost $5K in this month.
Last month…
In June, I hit another nearly $5K month.
Roadmap continues to be my bestseller. It’s the OG digital marketing course and it is all over the internet. So compared to a lot of the newer courses, it’s a lot easier to sell and people can see that because it’s literally everywhere online and feel confident that it’s legit (because it is).
I haven’t heard or seen any negative reviews on Roadmap 3.0 yet.
In June, I picked up a third course, called Selling With Confidence or SWC.
This was about multiple income streams.
I wanted to jump on it because I had been looking for a multiple income streams or side hustles course to promote since before I even started this project.
And, I found it!
SWC is the most expensive of all the courses I have gotten, at $595 (payment plans available too) but, it’s a solid course, offering multiple ways for people to learn how to earn online like UGC, faceless marketing, brand deals, dropshipping, TikTok Shop, making money with Pinterest, and more.
I participated in the BC Stack bundle and gave away one of my products in exchange for growing my email list by hundreds so far!
I also set up a tripwire which helped me make some money on the backend.
With this bundle, giving away free downloads, I got over 200 sales in June!
Now?
I invested in 3 courses and some small products along the way too.
I also created 3 ebooks: a faceless email marketing guide, a mini course on how to make money selling digital products on Reddit, and a beginner’s guide to faceless digital marketing.
And, 2 services: digital marketing and Pinterest management.
What’s next?
I’m going to keep going.
I’ve made over five figures so far from this side business. It brings in a nice, healthy income each month (a full-time income) while working part-time hours.
My days are spent posting one to two times on Instagram, engaging with others in this community, and developing my leads and nurturing the buyers that have gotten products from me.
What would I recommend to others starting this?
My biggest piece of advice is to just start.
I started learning about this late last year and I didn’t get in until January 2nd. I wish I would’ve jumped in earlier, around November or December.
Also, get a mentor or coach.
This is something I personally offer to students who buy Roadmap, UBC or SWC from me. It makes a big difference.
A coach can be someone who gives you advice, has experience and can help you based on that experience.
You can ask them questions, get actionable strategies you can put into place that really work and they’re an ear to listen when you’re frustrated or celebrating the wins you have!
If you want to start, here’s what I would recommend…
