After 2.5 years, I couldn't dodge it any more
Hey there,
I hope you’re well. I wrote earlier this week about being sick. I managed my business from bed and still kept things afloat thanks to passive income and multiple income streams (I got paid $1,000 today and I haven’t even done any real work yet).
I found out recently that I tested positive for COVID-19.
I’m not that surprised, to be honest.
There’s a clear difference between a cold and the flu. And, I knew sooner or later that I’d get it, despite how careful I’ve been in public.
Anyway, I’m feeling much better but still not back to 100%.
Here is what I’ve been doing while working (mostly) from bed…
I started a second Substack newsletter
Going ham with Copy AI, writing dozens of articles on my blog (I’ve grown my traffic by nearly 300% over the past few months thanks to AI writers!)
Online shopping (some retail therapy never hurt)
Thinking about booking my first flight in about 3 years and I’m getting excited about the prospect of visiting someplace new
Contemplating getting another cat
My newest Tik Tok account just hit 6,000 followers!
I’m starting to feel kind of burnt out on Tik Tok. It’s been a long two years since I joined the platform. It’s given me a ton of opportunities and a new income stream. I wrote a book about my faceless Tik Tok business and I’ve learned a lot in the process.
I say all this to say I might be taking a break from the platform soon.
It’s not as fun as it once was to make short-form video and even consume content on the social network.
I just booked a $2K/month UGC deal though so, aside from that, I’ll probably take a short mental health break from posting.
I hope you have a great weekend. Stay healthy.
Cheers,
Jenn
