5 Ways to Fuel Your Wallet with Pinterest
Hey there,
I wanted to talk about the power of Pinterest to drive money into your wallet. I’ve been a Pinterest fan for years. It all started over 10 years ago.
I was a new mom and in the nursing mother’s room at work, overhearing some other moms talk about recipe ideas from Pinterest.
I downloaded the app to my phone and the rest was history!
Over the next few months, I tried a bunch of different fun and interesting Pinterest recipes. Some were a hit, most of them were a flop, haha.
But, it was fun to discover new things in one place.
When I began blogging, I used Pinterest to drive traffic to my blog posts. It helped me get into Mediavine in less than a year on my first blog! It grew my second blog to nearly 100K monthly page views in less than 2 months and made me tens of thousands of dollars from those two blogs alone!
Now, I use Pinterest to continue to drive blog traffic but, in other ways as well.
Blog traffic (discussed above)
Pinterest affiliate marketing
Email list growth
Drive traffic to my Pinterest bio
Pinterest ads
We covered blog traffic. Let’s go over the next four!
Pinterest affiliate marketing
Create Pinterest pins, link to landing page monetized with affiliate links, and make money.
I started this with a newer affiliate program I was in and made nearly 100 bucks from one conversion in ~24 hours!
For me, I use my blog posts as landing pages, but, there are other landing page types you can use, too.
If this sounds interesting, my brand new ebook talks about how Pinterest affiliate marketing works and how to start making money with it. It includes a 30-minute video walkthrough too!
Email list growth
The money is in the list! It’s true!
Create Pinterest pins linked to an email landing page, grow your list, and make money with email marketing!
Pinterest Bio Money
Make sure your Pinterest bio is fully optimized. Link to a valuable landing page and drive traffic to your bio. Doing so has helped me make a few hundred dollars in recurring monthly income.
It’s not a ton but, it’s pretty passive.
And, it comes from dozens of conversions. I’ll be switching out that landing page to an even more valuable one which will hopefully increase my income to thousands in recurring monthly income instead of hundreds.
Pinterest Ads (advanced)
This is an advanced strategy. Make Pinterest pins, link to a valuable landing page that is monetized, and make money.
This is like #1, blog traffic but with the power of paid ads behind you, you can make even more money with that traffic boost.
Get tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands in traffic pushed to your landing page each month instead of hundreds or thousands.
This is pay to play but, it can be worth it.
Onto You!
What do you think?
Is Pinterest a traffic channel or income-producing channel you currently use?
Would you?
